The last year had been the most difficult of my life, with multiple calamities happening together. One problem got solved today. Biopsy results came back clean, and my cancer scare is over.

I’m celebrating at my favorite place in town-a mandatory stop if you are ever in Fresno.

Instead of chemo, which my doctor had told me to expect, I’m having this:

I still have a mountain of shit to deal with, but I’m going to be alive to beat it.

I told you all earlier how much I love it here That being said, we have 15-20 days a year that are utterly miserable. This is one.

It's really fucking hot. I'm staying here for a while

That’s awesome! Hopefully this helps turn things around. My dad had thyroid cancer; a very beatable cancer and he’s fine now, but being only 10 years old and not really understanding things, it was incredibly scary and saddening. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.
